Munawwar Abdulla

Munawwar Abdulla is an Uyghur writer, translator, and activist born on Kaurna land in Australia and currently based in the United States. She co-founded the Tarim Network, runs Uyghur Collective, and collaborates on projects with Uyghur rights organizations around the world. Her writings and literary translations have been published in Modern Poetry in Translation, Asymptote, The Margins, and other journals. She is also the co-editor of Under the Mulberry Tree, a contemporary Uyghur anthology series.
