Yordanka Beleva

Yordanka Beleva is one of the most distinctive female voices in contemporary Bulgarian literature. She is the author of the poetry collections Evening News (2024), The Missed Moment (2017), Her (2012), and Peignoirs and Boats (2002), and the short-story collections God’s Mercy (2025), Hedgehogs Come Out at Night (2022), Keder (2018), Keys (2015), and The Sea Level of Love (2011). Her writing has been translated into Arabic, English, French, German, Polish, Spanish, and Ukrainian and published in numerous anthologies.
