Rumena Bužarovska

Rumena Bužarovska is a writer, literary translator, and educator from North Macedonia. Her books include the novel Tony (2024) and four volumes of short stories, which have been translated into more than fifteen languages. The stories from My Husband and I’m Not Going Anywhere have received wide critical acclaim and have been adapted into six stage productions in Europe. She is also the author of two nonfiction books and has translated authors such as J.M Coetzee, Lewis Carroll, Truman Capote, and Flannery O’Connor from English into Macedonian. She teaches American literature and translation at the State University in Skopje.
