Jonis Hartmann

Jonis Hartmann is a German writer, translator, publisher, literary moderator, and co-founder of three Hamburg reading series. He is the author of Das Farnweh (Sukultur, forthcoming 2025), Ex (Elif Verlag 2019), Bordsteinsequenzen (Elif Verlag, 2016), and B-Texte (Literatur Quickie, 2016). He is also co-founder and editor of the literary magazine tau. His writing has been translated into Arabic, Belarusian, Croatian, and Dutch and has appeared in Chicago Review, Denver Quarterly, deus ex machina, and elsewhere.
