Kate Lebo

Kate Lebo is the author of The Book of Difficult Fruit (Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2021), which won the Washington State Book Award for creative nonfiction; the cookbook Pie School (Sasquatch Books, 2014, 2023); and the poetry chapbook Seven Prayers to Cathy McMorris Rodgers (Entre Ríos Books, 2018). With Samuel Ligon, she co-hosts the Pie & Whiskey reading series and runs Writers on the Farm, a yearly food writing workshop. She lives in Spokane.
