Jasmine Moore-Strickland

Jasmine Moore-Strickland is a postdoctoral fellow with the University of Southern California Society of Fellows in the Humanities. She received her PhD in English from the University of California, Riverside, in June 2024 and specializes in Black speculative fiction and cultures. Her book project “Disaster and Possibility: Reclaiming Time in AfroHorror Aesthetics” focuses on Black horror media. She has published in the Routledge Handbook of CoFuturisms and Liquid Blacks: The Journal of Blackness and Aesthetics.
