Mona Susan Power

Mona Susan Power is the author of four books of fiction: A Council of Dolls (Mariner, 2023), Sacred Wilderness (Michigan State University Press, 2014), Roofwalker (Milkweed Editions, 2002), and The Grass Dancer (Putnam, 1994). Her awards include the PEN/Hemingway Award and a Minnesota Book Award, and she has received a Radcliffe Institute Fellowship and Princeton’s Hodder Fellowship, among other support. She is an enrolled member of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe (Yanktonai Dakota).
