Doo-Sun Ryu

Doo-Sun Ryu is an emeritus professor at Seoul National University, specializing in twentieth-century English literature and postcolonial studies. His books include his co-translation with Joon-Li Kim of No Hand Held Mine (Rutgers University Press, 2025), a compilation of stories by Korean author Kim Soom, and D. H. Lawrence’s The Rainbow and Women in Love: A Critical Study (Peter Lang, 2005). He has received grants from the Literature Translation Institute of Korea and the Daesan Foundation.
