Domenico Starnone is the author of The Old Man by the Sea (2025), The Mortal and Immortal Life of the Girl from Milan (2024), The House on Via Gemito (2023), Trust (2021), Trick (2018), and Ties (2017), all published by Europa Editions. Starnone is the recipient of many of Italy’s major literary prizes, including the Strega Prize, the Napoli Prize, and the Campiello Prize.
