Stout’s stories have appeared in Zoetrope: All-Story, McSweeney’s, the Virginia Quarterly Review, and American Scholar. The screenplay adaptation of “Homewrecker” was commissioned by Ravensong Productions, with Varda Bar-Kar directing and producing, while her feature-length screenplay The Replacement, based on her short story by the same name, was commissioned by American Zoetrope, with Francis Ford Coppola executive producing.
