Oonagh Stransky

Oonagh Stransky has translated three novels by Domenico Starnone: The Old Man by the Sea (2025), The Mortal and Immortal Life of the Girl from Milan (2024), and The House on Via Gemito (2023), all from Europa Editions. Her translations of his short stories have appeared in The Paris Review and The New Yorker. She has also translated works by Eugenio Montale, Carlo Lucarelli, Giuseppe Pontiggia, and Erminia Dell’Oro.
