Isabel Theselius

Originally from Lund, Sweden, Isabel Theselius earned an MFA in studio art from the University of California, Irvine, and a BFA from Valand Academy of Fine Arts in Gothenburg. She is based between New York and Malmö, Sweden. Theselius’s work is included in the collection of the Public Art Agency Sweden. She has been awarded grants and scholarships from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee, the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, and other organizations. Her artist book Sycamore Spells was published by CSW Press. Recent solo exhibitions include Konstepidemin and 3:e Våningen, Gothenburg; Central Server Works, Los Angeles; Elephant Art Space, Los Angeles; Galleri Slätten, Malmö; and Pio Pico Gallery, Los Angeles.
