Brian Truong

Brian Truong is a Vietnamese-American writer who grew up in Texas. For his essays, he has won the 2023 Georgia Review Prose Prize, judged by Jennine Capó Crucet, and has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and shortlisted for the Disquiet Literary Prize. His work is published or forthcoming inEcotone, The Rumpus, Chicago Review of Books, Thrillist, and The Georgia Review. He has also received fellowships and support from Millay Arts, Periplus, the Tin House Summer Workshop, and the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. He earned his Bachelor’s from Harvard College and is currently at work on a memoir and an essay collection. He now lives in Brooklyn and makes ceramics in his spare time.
