E. Y. Zhao is a writer and editor from St. Louis. Her work appears in Conjunctions, Electric Literature, and Chicago Review of Books, among other journals. Her debut novel, Underspin, is forthcoming with Astra House in September 2025, and she edits fiction for Joyland Magazine.
