Reginald McKnight’s “Float” Wins Pushcart

Congratulations to Reginald McKnight, whose Spring 2016 story “Float” is the winner of a Pushcart Prize! McKnight’s many accolades include the PEN/Hemingway Special Citation, an O. Henry Award, the Kenyon Review Award for Literary Excellence, a Whiting Award, the Drue Heinz Literature Prize, and a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts—and we’re pleased he can add this Pushcart Prize to the list.

McKnight is the author of He Sleeps (Picador, 2002), The Kind of Light That Shines on Texas (1996), and I Get on the Bus (1990), among others. He is a professor of creative writing and literature at the University of Georgia.
