Leah Naomi Green is Writer-in-Residence at Washington and Lee University. Her book The More Extravagant Feast (Graywolf Press, 2020) won the Academy of American Poets Walt Whitman Award. Her work has been supported by Civitella Ranieri, Bread Loaf, Sewanee Writers’ Conference, the Lucille Clifton Legacy Award, The Paris Review, The Nation, Tin House, The Kenyon Review, Poem-a-Day, Virginia Quarterly Review, and The Southern Review. Green teaches workshops for Orion Magazine and lives in an ecological community.
