Edward Salem’s new book of poems, Intifadas (Sarabande Books), is forthcoming in spring 2026. He is also the author of Monk Fruit (Nightboat Books, 2025). His writing has recently appeared in The Paris Review, The Yale Review, The New York Review of Books, and elsewhere. He is the founding co-director of City of Asylum/Detroit.
