Cheryl Clarke is the author of nine books of poetry. Her most recent publication is Acts of Resistance: Essential Essays, Archival Encounters, and New Poems (Sinister Wisdom Press, 2026). Since 2013, she has been a co-organizer of the annual Hobart Festival of Women Writers in Hobart, New York.
