From Cape Fever

Nadia Davids is a South African writer, theater-maker, and scholar. Her first novel is An Imperfect Blessing (Penguin Random House South Africa, 2014). Her short stories and essays can be found in the Los Angeles Review of Books, The Johannesburg Review of Books, The American Scholar, and Astra Magazine. Cape Fever, her new novel, will be published by Simon and Schuster in December 2025.
