On August 13th, 2019 we held “Poets and Artists for Migrant Justice” at the Hugo House in Seattle, a poetry reading and art fair that raised over $4,000 for bail bonds, including over $2,000 for Immigrant Families Together. The event included the then WA State Poet Laureate, Claudia Castro Luna, and Natalie Scenters Zapico, finalist for the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award.
