Alice Friman’s eighth book, On the Overnight Train: New and Selected Poems, was published in 2024 by Louisiana State University Press. Previous books with LSU Press include Blood Weather, The View from Saturn, and Vinculum, which won the 2012 Georgia Author of the Year Award in Poetry. She is a recipient of two Pushcart Prizes and is included in Best American Poetry.
