Brendan Stephens is an assistant professor at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. His work has appeared in The Pinch, Epoch, Southeast Review, Cleaver Magazine, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. His awards include multiple Inprint Donald Barthelme prizes, an Into the Void Fiction Prize, and inclusion in Wigleaf’s Top 50 Very Short Fictions. Currently, he serves as the online creative nonfiction editor for Aquifer: The Florida Review Online and a submissions editor for SmokeLong Quarterly.
