Kate Bolton Bonnici grew up in Alabama and holds degrees from Harvard University; New York University School of Law; University of California, Riverside; and University of California, Los Angeles. Her poetry collection, Night Burial, won the 2020 Colorado Prize for Poetry. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Manifold, CounterText, Foundry, Arts & Letters, Southern Humanities Review, Exemplaria, Image, and elsewhere. She teaches at Pepperdine University.
